2023 Baseball/Softball - Age 5 Instructional

Our Instructional program is a coach-pitched learning division where we teach the basics of fielding, hitting, running and most importantly, having fun! Our program is very different than Tee Ball programs - we seldom use tee's, but no scores or records are kept so that the kids do not feel any "pressure."

SLL Instructional program: Teams are formed and games are played. League runs the same length as all other leagues. Practices start in April.  Games are played during the week with make-ups on Saturdays if needed.

​NOTE: during player evaluations, a player may be assessed to play in another division other than Instructional.  This is an initial placement assumed for the basis of registration.

2023 Baseball - Age 13 Juniors Intermediate Diamond

This spring, Suffield LL will be offering an intermediate division of baseball which will help with the jump from a little league size diamond 46/60 to the standard 60/90 sized diamond. This division will be for all 13 year olds and will be played on a 50/70 (50 feet for the mound and 70 feet for the base paths) field. The jump from a little league diamond 46/60 to a standard 60/90 diamond is a significant one especially at age 13. The intermediate level is backed by little league international and is used by numerous towns/states/leagues throughout the country as a steppingstone between the two size fields.  Any questions please reach out to Steve Renzullo at president@suffieldlittleleague.com Thanks Suffield LL Board of Directors
